If your pool screen enclosure is leaning, tearing, or rattling in the wind, it is usually a frame, fastener, or screen-tension issue, not just “old screen.” Corpus Christi Screens has served Corpus Christi since 2015, handling full enclosure installs plus panel rescreening, door repairs, and structural fixes for aluminum pool cages.
Prep starts with a site check and measurements so the enclosure footprint, roof pitch, and door openings match how you actually use the pool deck. We verify slab condition and anchoring points, locate existing electrical and drainage conflicts, then lay out post locations and beam spans. For repairs, we identify what failed first, torn mesh, a sprung spline channel, loose anchors, bent extrusion, or a door that is out of square, and we isolate the fix so you do not pay for unnecessary rebuilds. Materials are selected upfront, including aluminum frame extrusion, stainless fasteners, spline, and the right screen type for durability and airflow.
Coastal exposure changes how a pool screen enclosure should be built and finished. We use corrosion-resistant hardware (typically stainless steel) and seal or replace compromised anchors, then tension screen evenly to prevent puckers, pull-out, and premature edge fraying. When panels are rescreened, we remove old spline, clean the screen channel, and install new spline with consistent pressure so the mesh stays tight through heat cycles. Finish work includes aligning doors so latches engage cleanly, adjusting hinges and closers, and checking that kick plates, thresholds, and handle sets operate smoothly without scraping the frame.
Customers in Corpus Christi choose us because we do the structural details that keep an enclosure straight and quiet. That means diagnosing racking, sway, and corner movement, not just swapping mesh, and using proper fastener patterns and bracing where needed. You get clear options, repair versus partial rebuild versus new installation, along with a written scope so you know what is being replaced and why. We stay focused on practical performance: tighter screens, cleaner lines, solid door operation, and hardware that holds up in salt air.
At the end of the job we do a walkthrough panel by panel. We verify screen tension, check spline seating, confirm doors swing and latch correctly, and look for sharp edges or unfinished cuts. You receive a clean work area, the removed material hauled off if requested, and a straightforward maintenance plan (rinse schedule, hinge checks, and what to watch after major wind). If we find developing issues during the walkthrough, we point them out and document them so you can plan the next step without surprises.
Yes. We provide a free written estimate after an on-site measure so materials, scope, and pricing are clear.
Yes. We service common door issues like worn rollers, bent tracks, loose hinges, misaligned latches, damaged closers, and missing door sweeps.
Yes. We rescreen individual panels or complete pool enclosures, and we can upgrade mesh type where it makes sense for pets, sun control, or insect pressure.
We work on single-family homes, townhomes, condos (where allowed), apartments, offices, and commercial properties that have screened patios, common areas, or outdoor enclosures.
Timing depends on access, number of panels, door hardware needs, and any frame repairs. After the on-site measure, we give a realistic schedule with the written estimate.
A pool screen enclosure should do three things well: block insects, cut debris, and stay rigid in wind without constant door and panel problems. Corpus Christi Screens installs new aluminum enclosures and repairs existing pool cages, from single-panel rescreens to structural corrections. Whether you need a new layout with a screened roof, a better-fitting screen door, or repairs after storm movement, we focus on correct anchoring, square frames, and clean screen tension so your enclosure looks right and performs long-term.
Pool screen enclosure problems usually show up as loose panels, bowed members, screen pulling out at corners, or doors that will not stay latched. Our process starts with a quick evaluation of the frame, attachment points, and screen channels so we can fix the root cause. If the structure is sound, rescreening restores the look and keeps insects out. If posts are shifting or beams are out of plane, we recommend targeted reinforcement or replacement so the enclosure stops moving and the new screen is not immediately stressed again.
For new installation, we plan around how you access the pool, equipment pad, and seating areas, then build with durable aluminum framing, properly placed bracing, and hardware that stands up to moisture and salt exposure. We can also upgrade common weak points like doors and high-use panels, improving fit and operation so the enclosure feels solid day to day.
If you are comparing bids, ask what screen type is included, how anchors and fasteners are specified, and whether door hardware and alignment are part of the scope. A well-built pool screen enclosure is not just mesh, it is a system. Call Corpus Christi Screens to schedule a free written estimate and get a clear plan for installation or repair.
