A commercial screen door has to take daily traffic, carts, wind, and constant opening and closing without sagging or sticking. Corpus Christi Screens has served Corpus Christi since 2015, installing and repairing heavy-duty screen doors for restaurants, warehouses, offices, and multi-tenant properties.
Every job starts with fit and structure, because a commercial screen door only performs as well as the opening it is mounted to. We verify rough opening dimensions, plumb and level jambs, and hinge-side backing, then check threshold height, floor slope, and clearance for mats and hand trucks. If needed, we replace worn hinge screws with longer fasteners into solid framing, correct out-of-square frames with shims, and confirm latch alignment before we touch the new screen. For replacements, we document door size, frame type, and swing, then match it to the right extruded aluminum frame and hardware package for the usage level.
Coastal heat, salt air, and gusty wind punish light hardware, so we build for service life and smooth operation. We use corrosion-resistant components like stainless steel screws and heavy-duty hinges, and we set consistent reveals to prevent rubbing when the frame expands in the sun. Screen options are chosen by environment, fiberglass mesh for general use, pet-resistant mesh for higher abuse, and tighter insect mesh when flying pests are an issue near dumpsters or loading areas. For kitchens and back-of-house entries, we can discuss easier-to-clean screen materials and hardware that holds up to frequent washdowns, then finish the install with clean caulk lines and proper stops so the door closes without bounce.
Businesses choose us because we treat it like an operational doorway, not a quick screen swap. You get clear recommendations on frame gauge, hinge count, closer needs, and latch type based on how your staff actually uses the opening. We show up with commercial-grade tools and parts to reduce return trips, including replacement closers, strike plates, rollers (for sliding screen doors), and multiple mesh types for on-the-spot repairs. Licensed and insured work, straightforward scheduling, and a clean jobsite matter when you have customers on the other side of the door.
Before we wrap up, we run a full functional check, swing, latch, self-close, and clearance, then confirm the screen is tight, evenly tensioned, and free of waves or sharp edges. We walk your manager through proper use, including how to avoid bent frames from propping and how to spot early hinge or closer issues. You receive a free written estimate up front, then a finished commercial screen door installation or repair that opens cleanly, seals well, and is ready for daily traffic. If the job includes new hardware, we leave you with the exact parts list so future maintenance is simple.
Yes. We provide a free written estimate after an on-site measure so materials, scope, and pricing are clear.
Yes. We service common door issues like worn rollers, bent tracks, loose hinges, misaligned latches, damaged closers, and missing door sweeps.
Yes. We rescreen individual panels or complete pool enclosures, and we can upgrade mesh type where it makes sense for pets, sun control, or insect pressure.
We work on single-family homes, townhomes, condos (where allowed), apartments, offices, and commercial properties that have screened patios, common areas, or outdoor enclosures.
Timing depends on access, number of panels, door hardware needs, and any frame repairs. After the on-site measure, we give a realistic schedule with the written estimate.
A commercial screen door is a working component of your building, it helps ventilation, keeps flying insects out, and protects back-of-house entries without slowing staff down. Corpus Christi Screens installs and repairs commercial screen doors for restaurants, retail, offices, warehouses, and multifamily properties, focusing on durability, code-conscious fit, and reliable hardware. Whether you need a full replacement or a fast rescreen, we build around traffic patterns, wind exposure, and the way the door is used throughout the day.
Commercial screen door issues usually start with misalignment or worn hardware, not just a torn screen. We troubleshoot sagging from loose hinge-side anchoring, latch failures from shifted strike plates, dragging from out-of-square jambs, and doors that will not self-close due to tired closers or incorrect spring tension. After the opening is corrected, we repair or replace the screen using the appropriate mesh, fiberglass for everyday use, pet-resistant for high contact, or tighter insect mesh where pest control is critical. For sliding screen doors, we service rollers, tracks, and guides to restore a clean glide and proper meeting-stile contact.
Installation work is measured and built to reduce callbacks. We confirm door size and swing, set hinge locations for even load distribution, and use corrosion-resistant screws where salt air and humidity accelerate rust. If your entry needs better control, we can add or replace closers and latching hardware so the door shuts securely without slamming. The goal is a commercial screen door that moves freely, seals consistently, and stands up to daily opening cycles.
To get started, request a free written estimate and tell us what the door is used for, customer entry, staff entry, kitchen, storage, or loading. We will recommend the right frame and mesh combination, schedule the work to minimize downtime, and finish with a walkthrough so your team knows what to expect from the door day to day.
