Commercial solar screens cut glare, reduce heat load, and protect interiors without sacrificing daytime visibility. Corpus Christi Screens has served Corpus Christi since 2015, installing and repairing solar screen systems for storefronts, offices, schools, and multi-tenant buildings.
Every successful install starts with the opening and the frame. We measure each bay for square, plumb, and reveal depth, then confirm attachment points on aluminum storefront framing, steel studs, or masonry with appropriate anchors. Our crew checks for failed sealant, loose stops, and bent extrusions, then preps with cleaning and corrosion control so fasteners bite properly and frames sit flat. For repairs, we assess whether you need re-screening, corner-key replacement, spline replacement, or full frame rebuild to restore tension and alignment.
On the Coast, wind, salt air, and UV exposure punish screens, so material choice and finish matter. We commonly install fiberglass solar mesh for stable tension and aluminum solar mesh where higher rigidity is needed, using UV-resistant spline sized to the groove for a tight lock. Frames are typically .050 aluminum with mitered corners and corner keys, built to keep the screen tight under gusts and repeated door traffic. We finish with clean edges, consistent mesh orientation, and smooth operation around closer arms, panic hardware, and threshold transitions so the screen does its job without interfering with entry systems.
Corpus Christi customers choose us because we work like a commercial contractor, not a handyperson. You get clear scheduling, a written scope, and crew members who know how to protect glass, EIFS, and finished flooring while working around tenants and business hours. We handle common commercial constraints like restricted access, lift coordination for upper elevations, and tying into existing storefront framing without cosmetic damage. Licensed and insured, we focus on durable installs that hold tension, stay square, and look uniform across an entire facade.
Before we leave, we do a walkthrough with your point of contact and verify fit, tension, and appearance at every opening. We check for rub points, rattles, and light leaks at the perimeter, then confirm fasteners are seated and corners are locked. You receive a free written estimate up front, followed by straightforward documentation of materials used (mesh type, frame thickness, spline) and any recommended follow-up items like caulk repair or bent-frame replacement. The result is a consistent, professional solar screen package that improves comfort and reduces glare with minimal disruption to your operation.
Yes. We provide a free written estimate after an on-site measure so materials, scope, and pricing are clear.
Yes. We service common door issues like worn rollers, bent tracks, loose hinges, misaligned latches, damaged closers, and missing door sweeps.
Yes. We rescreen individual panels or complete pool enclosures, and we can upgrade mesh type where it makes sense for pets, sun control, or insect pressure.
We work on single-family homes, townhomes, condos (where allowed), apartments, offices, and commercial properties that have screened patios, common areas, or outdoor enclosures.
Timing depends on access, number of panels, door hardware needs, and any frame repairs. After the on-site measure, we give a realistic schedule with the written estimate.
If your building is dealing with harsh sun, lobby glare, and rising cooling costs, commercial solar screens are a practical upgrade. Corpus Christi Screens installs and repairs solar screen systems for office windows, storefronts, schools, medical buildings, warehouses, and multi-unit properties, using proven frame builds and UV-stable mesh designed for long service life. Whether you need a full elevation screened or a few damaged panels replaced, we focus on accurate measuring, clean fit, and consistent appearance across the entire property.
Our commercial solar screens are typically built with .050 aluminum frames, mitered corners, and corner keys for strength and repeatable alignment. We install fiberglass or aluminum solar mesh depending on the opening, expected wind load, and durability needs, then lock it in with UV-resistant spline for even tension. On repair calls, we identify the root issue first, failed spline, warped frame, missing fasteners, or impact damage, then recommend re-screening, hardware replacement, or panel rebuild as needed.
Because commercial openings vary, we plan around real jobsite conditions: aluminum storefront systems, tilt windows, door sidelites, masonry returns, and mixed elevations. We protect glass and finished surfaces, keep work areas clean, and coordinate access for upper levels when ladders or lifts are required. If your screens are part of a larger envelope issue, we can flag related items we see in the field, such as deteriorated sealant or water intrusion points around the frame.
From the first site visit to the final walkthrough, you get clear communication and a free written estimate. If you are comparing options, ask us about mesh type, frame thickness, attachment method, and how the screens will clear door hardware and operable windows. For long-term performance in a coastal climate, those details matter as much as the shade percentage.
Call now or send a request and we will reach out within one business day to schedule your free, no-obligation estimate in Corpus Christi. We assess the project, review the details, and give you a written quote before any work starts, so you know exactly what to expect.
